Budapest is a great city for walking because there is so much to see. It is the third capital city going down the Danube and the most fun to explore. Major sights are well known: Hungarian Parliament Building, Chain bridge, Buda Castle. But a walk along Andrássy Avenue is also recommended, it is the Hungarian Champs-Élysées. This Avenue is an elegant 2.5 km (2 miles) long tree-lined street that covers the distance from Erzsébet tér (square) to the Heroes Square. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
